Grocery Prime
Data Analysis, Usability Testing, User Research
A client needed some initial research to be conducted to help determine specific problems, or pain points, users have with grocery shopping that their new app in development might be able to solve.
My approach was to first create a user research plan to organize and layout my initial interview questions. Once I had my plan in place I was able to find individuals who fit into the client’s target audience to interview. Their responses to the interview questions were documented and compiled and analyzed to reveal what the key pain points for them were when grocery shopping so the client could focus and address them when continuing to develop the app.
As a result of the initial user research I did, the client developed a prototype for their app. I was tasked with using their prototype and conduct some usability testing on participants. It was determined the focus would be to confirm the functionality of the app made sense and that users would be able to accomplish the tasks necessary to order a grocery delivery. I then performed usability tests with participants to see if they completed the tasks given by the client. After documenting their interactions with the prototype I provided my client with my analysis and recommendations.
